Tara dear! I made an extra drawing for you yesterday. I hope you like it. Thank you so much for your alway so sweet and kind support to my "handmade" Art.
It is a cheramic bottle from the flee market and 2 lemons :-)
Dry watercolor pencil on watercolor paper.

Oh Helle, thank you! This is wonderful ... the shading, the way you convey light and shape and texture with nothing but a pencil ... I am in awe. I stare and stare, amazed at your talent! I know how to bring out glass and ceramic and pottery with my camera, but you create these things out of thin air, and the result is astonishing. Thank you so much! LOL @ Carin, wanting half my Snaps! :P

there's a charm and endearing simplicity to drawings like this: Whereas I might fuss & fuss & do so much cross-hatch or shading that I have to do it over 4 times, you seem to get just the right tone, the simplest lines for shade, crossing maybe once-over (if that much), knowing when to stop, and letting outlines exist in the subtlest ways (your outline of the 2 lemons is just perfect, a little white 'band' around them, no more). And a nice balance between penciled spaces and white. A beautiful little charm of a drawing, and makes us all remember that drawings can be as gentle as caresses. Beautiful, and a beautiful dedi for Tara, who's a favorite of everyone who knows & loves her here...Btw, I've had "Schnapps" (with the "ch") but never Snaps. When you got the bottle, did it have any liquor in it, lol? I'm told the stuff is pretty strong! Try that on a stiflingly hot day! (I'd be under the table speaking pure gibberish...and you don't need to tell me I already do that!)
