Description

Location: a small moon which belongs to the large planet, Deconalon far out in the universe where a small colony of scientists were sent to study the atmosphere of this unusual planet. Known for huge storms which sweep across its colorful surface, these phenomena can last for years at a time. The last contact with the scientists was over two years ago and all equipment was failing and their supplies were dwindling. A craft was sent to answer their signals for help but upon arrival, they found the base deserted. Had they somehow managed to leave this small moon base and reach the surface of Decalon? And if so, are they still alive? Thanks for viewing and any comments you care to share. There is only one radial light used in this render to simulate the light which would be prevalent in space...creating large shadows on objects. Bryce 5.1 Sharpening and signature with PhotoScape 3.3

Very cool SF scene, Keith. The contrast and reflections are truely amazing here. Brilliant work.

Nice work. The story has a wonderful sense of mystery that recalls some of the great novels and short stories that I've read over the years. I can easily see all sorts of cultural and interstellar action, the likes of which Jack McDivitt would write. Hmmm...did I spell his name right? Anyway, this is superb!

Not only is this scene awesome for its various elements but you've come up with a mind-blowing lighting that I am awed by. This is a fabulous Bryce scene.

Great use of the one radial light to make this scene very believable. The thing that catches my eyes is the way the light reflects off the scientists helmets. Fabulous overall scene Keith. Tony.
