Saw this technique in Photoshop Elements Technigues and decided to give it a try. I like how it turned out.

What a wonderful depiction of the Oleander! I just actually saw the movie "White Oleander", and find it intriguing how such a beautiful flower can be so dangerous and poisonous at the same time. Love the colours and the effect you've created!
