The monster almost looks like a Dr. Seuss character on steroids! A most marvelous and fantastical image! Great mood achieved with the special effects!

I definitely agree that this is a superb image. I particularly like the other than real qualities to this...the hazy light, the monster's clarity and more stylized form. The same goes for the would-be slayer. It's great work with the feel of true illustration for an intriguing, adventurous, mythic text. Fantastic work.
