Description

The adventures of Damian McAndrews in my friend's new epic series The Bible Runner. A Christian hero in a post world war 3 setting, where the governments have become oppressive, very Totalitarian. Where the only place Damian and others find solace and answers to, is in the Holy Book itself. This is the full scene render, from which the sites title banner was made from, which can be viewed over at "The Bible Runner". Sofar there's just a written prologue, and a couple short entries. Feel free to check it out. If you like the story sofar, leave him a comment on his page. There will be more installments in the future, as well as images for the series. Bible cover was made in photoshop, then brought in for use as a prop. Save for signature, no postwork otherwise. Thankyou for viewing. Comments and Critique is always welcome.

Great atmospheric effect, Kind of looks like the hand is reaching through the wall, But then, if it was reaching around the corner the person would be visible to the searchers.. ( probably not a good thing..) Creative work here..

Thx Ineaaa and NoelCan! Yeah, I suppose it does looks that way Noel ;) I did the initial render , showed it to him while he was online, and he wanted a Bible prop featured in the scene, so I whipped one up in photoshop, also roughened it up. Ended up adding a dim bulb as it was too dark, possibly from a street lamp or like a side door porch light or something. Then I added someone holding the book as if he/she was pinning themself back flat against the wall, like on of those narrow pockets between densely packed buildings downtown. This is going to be a real fun series to do. And also checkout Makot's Crabdog tank. Its futuristic but not too futuristic, incredibly versatile, lots of options, paint jobs, accessories and poses comes with it. And sadly its on clearance, grab it before its too late. Likewise with Andi3d's building sets, as they have 4 walls, roof and a floor. And the textures still hold up well for closeup shots at 1680x1050 :)
