Description

This one was made in the arboretum of the McGill University in Montreal. The forest is made of many different species, and is mile wide, but we saw only a tiny part of it. In fact, we were routed by battallions of mosquitos that seemed to think we were a five-courses walking meal. We didn't have any repellent with us, being unsuspecting of the danger awaiting in front of us. We couldn't even stay still for just a couple of seconds to take a shot that at least four mosquitoes landed on our hands to suck our precious blood. And left a terriblre itching as a souvenir. After a heroic battle I managed to have some decent shots. This one is in the area of the maple trees, and I suppose that the shadows on the trunk belong to their leaves.Signed with blood by Sandra. Thank you for your kind comments.
