Blue flowers have always been a favorite. They seem to stand out with bravery when all their peers are yellow, pink and red. :-) Gorgeous capture.

I tried commenting on this before but kept crashing...I hope you didn't get lots of ebots (my hard-drive is still sputtering, and I've had problems with rosity too...) Wildflowers are beautiful because they often lack the spectacle of the cultivated varieties, they tend to be small and very intense; and when they're stacked up like this they have a real beauty. You caught the beautiful stamens, little as they are, and at least two hues (blue and violet), and the wonderful stalks they rest on which, with their buds, look a little like wheat or prairie grass. Nice multiple focusses too. A shot with many layers of light & texture & background. And I agree with Dave, it's the perfect title for this one. (I hope this posts, my computer is sputtering again! Ugh...well if it doesn't, I'll come back a little later...)
