Description

Second in the series of images I took at an historic cemetary. I found this most beautiful marker created by Waldine Taueh Se (at least that is what I can read from the image of the stone). I hope I have written it correctly. I was taken by the artistry and quality of these feet. I started to wonder if I have a foot fetish? Ha, Ha...Not. I just love wonderful art! I truthfully do not know when this was created, but it is incredible work and beauty even though time is chipping away at it. I hope you will enjoy! There is no postwork except for the frame and wordings. Please let me know your thoughts on the frame. I had a difficult time trying to decide what to do with what I considered destracting areas. I would love to hear your thoughts! Thank you! Please have a wonderful rest of the week. Thank you ever so much for your kind comments on past images, and to those who have added me or one of my images to their favorites!

Superb! I think this pic would stand alone without a frame very well.

Great textures well captured Beth. The frame also does not distract from the sombre soul full display.

This is nicely seen! I love old sculptures, and these old soles are wonderfully textured. The gray, mottled texture really sets the mood perfectly--it's wonderfully contemplative.

Wonderfully seen and captured! I too think the picture could stand alone, without a frame. But you have framed it very nicely, I like the title as well.
