Description
I had the day off work yesterday and took a walk along a cutting that runs along side one of the main roads through our town, it's about 15ft below the duel carriage way and is teeming with wildlife, and a small river that meanders under the road a couple of times before flowing off into town. Such a slow pace of life there as the cars and lorries (trucks for those the other side of the Atlantic!) thunder past as fast as they can above you. Hope you like the Thistle and bugs I snapped there.

This really knocks my socks off. First I am hit with the vibrant color of the thistle and then I am excited by the bees...but THEN I find a gentler side in the ladybug. Stellar work!
