Description

"Bohus Granite is a local variant of the rock granite. It occurs in northern BohuslÃ¤n between Gullmarn and Idefjorden and west of roughly considered, a line through Idefjorden and BullaresjÃ¶arna. Bohus granite as granite is composed mainly of Silicon dioxide rich minerals such as feldspar and quartz and minor amounts of including mica. Bohus Granite has had great use of cobblestones and building stone and ornamental stone. It was the condition for the massive stone industry in northern BohuslÃ¤n during the decades around the turn of the century in 1900." Info from Wikipedia translated with Google. I love the tone of the rock here ... like maybe a bit of a tone mapping going on? I love it.

Outstanding texture brought out and wonderful rich color. Composition is made interesting and the touch of green to balance the red of the rock and the blue of the sky is a grand feature.
