Description

I was going to post a render of the triplets with the Andrea mats from Syltermermaid. However, I go an unique photo opportunity that I have to share with you. While I was out watering my mom's garden, I happen to look over at my neighbor's yard and saw a tiny fawn, with spots. I told my parents this news and as we were getting ready to eat, my dad noticed the fawn and its mother coming up the street. Mom and I grabbed our cameras and quietly went outside to take some photos. I set my camera to the max image size (8 megs) and used my optical zoom and began shooting. In all I got about 25 pictures. Some outstanding and others, okay. When I downloaded them onto the computer to view them and make a cd for my mom. I discovered that the doe's right rear leg was broken near the hoof. it did not seem to bother her in getting around. Anyway, here is one of the many pictures I took tonight (Thursday). enjoy and thank you. Mike

Great capture Mike. We had a doe that we would see from time to time that had a broken leg and she seemed to get on just fine.

Nice capture but a bit fuzzy! just a tip don't use the digital zoom it is better to only use the lens zoom and then crop the image. Unless you are using a tripod. The digital zoom is too tight of an image. Also it is only doubling the pixel size of the object not the resolution so you actually lose detail when using a digital zoom!

very cool shot! we have some of those woodland critters come through our yard some times. of course a scene like this one is apt to give a viewer sugar diabetes ;)

Peaceful family shot. That injury probably happened either at birth or soon after. For it not to hinder or for it not to be more disfigured, it has to have been using it for a long time I would think.
