Stella was a wonderful guide full of information when we were giving Beachzz and Anna a tour of Hilo town, Stella had a special name for this place and building I'm sure Marilyn and Anna would never forget. But for me, its called Hale pa'ahao........Jail. Aloha and thank you for viewing

Looks like it might be just a wee bit uncomfortable to stay there longre than about 10 minutes! A real character building though!

Yes It is a very interesting image sweetie I hate to say it but the building looks like it has seen better times Don't think I would want to be there after dark LOL Great capture tho Hugs Susan~

Hey, I was going to walk down there and take a few shots soon. You really brought this to life...lololol.. Yes, this is one of the "best" hotels on the island. Room service as well as a "bar" in every room. Just kidding. The new jail is build just behind this one. Aloha
