Fantastic wasp. I think it is a potter wasp of some sort, they have that yellowjacket coloration, and well...they hang around mud as they build their nests out of it. (Their nests are pretty awesome: we can learn quite a bit about architecture--if we like stuff that looks like organ pipes.) Great color and wonderful details.
