Description
I chuckled to myself as I pulled the beautifully ornate bottle from the box the currier had just left me with. The late sultan had promised to bequeath me an invaluable gift upon his passing and I was quite familiar with his wild tales of Genies, power and wealth.
I shook the bottle and held it up to the light. It appeared to be empty. Being as late as it was I almost decided to set it aside and go to bed but I just could not resist popping that cork just for fun.
Instantly a hissing noise like that of a large serpent filled the air and on reflex I dropped the bottle and stopper, backing away in alarm. All my instincts screamed at me to run and call for help but I was impossibly transfixed by what I was seeing.
A smoky mist began pouring forth from the bottle and rising upward, forming into a human-like shape. "What the" was all I could get out before the smoke began solidifying into a gorgeous figure of a woman right before my eyes.
She was stretching as if awakening from a long nap. I got weak in the knees and nearly crumpled to the floor when her beautiful eyes locked onto me and she spoke to me.
"Yes, master?"
