Description
A few evenings ago, I went with some of my friends for a walk to Acitrezza, a village a few kilometers from Catania.
The panorama of Acitrezza is dominated by the "Cyclops Faraglioni", eight colourful rocks that, according to legend, were fired from Polyphemus to Ulysses during his escape (Odyssey by Homer).
It's also the country where Giovanni Verga environment his novel "The Malavoglia," which tells the story of a poor family of fishermen.
In the photo, taken at sunset, the bigger Faraglione and the small island Lachea!
I wish you a good Sunday and a wonderful start week! :)

The colors are amazing and the lighting is great! But above all, it's breathtaking to watch the rocks which the Cyclop threw at Ulysses (yes, I know it's a legend, but it really is cool). Thanks for sharing!

This is beautiful! I love the drama of the dark land masses against the pale sky. Wonderful colors and light. I love the lines of the pier too.
