Nitro, Lorraine, Mahliga...thank you for your comments. I would like to clarify just what type of painting this is. I am humbled by your comment, Nitro, as I am such an admirer of your 3DS work. Although I consider this painting, in that you have to know what you are doing for it to come out right, this is a technique known as ClonePainting that I will use in Corel's Painter with various brushes to great effect. I did a tutorial for the Painter 7 program CD in which this image appears. There is also one on my site. I do work from scratch with not much reference. My Angel's Desire and my Xochiquetzal are examples, but this is a little different.

Awesome Painter work! I've played in Painter for several years, but have never quite gotten comfortable enough to make an entire picture with it. Looks like I need to get back into it :)
