Hello rendo friends! I am obsest with a moon so I could not pass the opportunity to do a collage about it on this special day. "Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed." I am a hard nut but I get softy when I here this, every time. That was something truly amazing. Bold, brave, dangerous but extremely amazing. have a great day/nite...seeya

OMG - has it really been 40 years? That's so amazing to me! I remember that day. We drove to a friend's house to watch the landing with a bunch of people, and on the way over I swear we were the only car on the road. Everyone was already glued to their sets. It seemed like forever to me, sitting in that room on the floor in front of the television, waiting to see people walking on the moon. When it finally happened, you could have heard a pin drop in that room. Everyone was so choked up. I get that way now, just thinking about it. You bring that memory back like it was yesterday! This is a wonderful collection of moon pics, and a great commemoration piece. Thank you for this!

Great dedication Just for those geeks out there lunar lander computer ran on like 8k or 8,000 bytes of memory thats what I find amazing. they got to the moon and they didn't even have to reboot! LOL today most word documents are larger than that

Yes even though I was a teenager, I stayed up to watch. It's one of those events in your life you remember so vividly. This some stunning shots of the moon.

This is wonderful, I am going to send this to a friend that resides near Houston and works at Nasa. I know he will love and appreciate this.

Stunning and most professionally done. A stellar tribute to this awsome occassion. I grew up only a couple miles from Houston's NASA and babysat a couple of the astronaut's kids as a teen. My older sister's mother was manager of the Ramada across the street from the space center so for every space mission, we stayed at the motel and mingled with the domestic and foreign news media. It was a glorious time and one of my most memorable ones of growing up.

And, in my long career in aerospace, I also worked on the huge Saturn rocket that launched these brave and adventurous souls up to our closest neighbor. I also worked on the Space Shuttle Orbiters that were created after the moon ventures. Stellar collage made of the moon and some of the planets of the solar system, with their accompanying umbras, Tunde!
