I was born in 1954 and live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I'm employed as a computer network administrator and analyst, specializing in Novell Netware and Windows NT...
My first love is cars and in 1983 I restored a 1960 Corvette, which I still own. My other interests are computers, computer graphics, music, hockey (I still play at least once a week in the winter).BIOI hope to teach myself 3D modeling and I've played with Wings3D and Vue D'Esprit...

Beautiful image, composition is excellent and the softness of color works great for the content. I also like how the shape of the hills in the background are like rolling seas

Nice close-up,Ken

I find it odd that a woman on board a ship is considered bad luck but isn't it always that these mastheads are but women strapped to the bow to lead the way?

"Mr. Christian!" I can't beleive it, no quotes from such a clasic movie. And we need video of the tall ships festivities. I just love these old sailing ships, so sad we don't see more of them. Yea I tell you all the worlds military ships need a new paint job; that dull gray-blue is just plain ugly, and in this day and age it just realy doesn't make a differance; As no enemy is gona wait till it sees the ship; Its all done with radar or sonar or both these days; No waiting till the ship is visual; So the tiny bit of extra time it takes to see an ugly gray-blue over a gleaming briliantly colored ship is meaningless. I would love to see the US military to go back to the white fleet; With the gleaming white paint, the brass, and the mahogany rails. That was the last time a US warship looked good.
