Description

I'm not good with words but it is nice to give a try sometimes, who knows maybe I really come out with a good story from this. All of us know what to create a new picture or any other work means ... it is just ours! Once upon a time... ...We open a program in a white page (canvas), our colours, we get our pen and begin to create, to give shape to our ideas ... there we go... thoughts, tears, sweetness, happiness, stress, etc, a whole bunch of emotions come along, it's a new birth... Isn't that an important part of ourselves ? ... I'm also feeling that way just now, ( I bet you all know what I mean). Oh yes, we like to share with all the group but we don't want to be copied. It's not fair and even it's not a new problem , I know that, but we can't just stay with our arms crossed by or just looking to another side and permit this to continue... Creating... I am creating "for who" or for you?... it's no good pretending with us. Now I am sure with something and it's that: "I could say all this really loud... but not better!. Thanks ;O) And have a nice day Elizabeth (it's only some shy writing) And as a friend said once: "I just want you to think about the integrity of our group and how you want your ideas and art to be treated"

Wonderful image and expression of thoughts... I think, in the first place we create for ourselves, for the love of creating, being creative... and once we are happywith what we created... we want to share, to show... maybe only for sharing a common interest, maybe for some critics, maybe for some acknowledge... but you are so right : we certainly do not show our works to be copied... to let our works be used by anyone when not asked for. Still... it is a joy to create, speaking for myself : I couldn't stop creating, even when some others on the internet do not behave.. do not respect my ownership of my works thanx much Elizabeth for sharing your works and thoughts hugs

Thanks to all for your comments... Juliette, I know what you mean, I couldn't stop creating either, because all this comes from very inside, maybe from our souls; Lyron(lo del tipo de galleria solo ha sido un error no creo que importe mucho lo importante es la historia)Gracias!

Juliette write something too true...Elizabeth...the copist is always a copist. The creator is an Artist. I know that you are a great Artist...someone isn't and his work is depending from his honesty !!! Today all the world plays on the words...A filter, an other color...and it isn't the same...yes indeed, but the copist don't have the jump of our heart when we create !!! Artfriendly create...create...create !!! Friendly to Juliette, Lyron and you ! CLAUDE

MAGNIFICO TEXTO MINHA AMIGA SÁBIAS PALAVRAS É NA ARTE QUE COLOCAMOS NOSSOS SENTIMENTOS COMO ALEGRIA,TRISTEZA E AMOR OUTRAS PESSOAS NÃO PODEM COPIAR PORQUE NÃO SENTEM O MESMO QUE O ARTISTA SENTIU NO MOMENTO QUE ESTAVA COMPONDO, CADA ARTISTA É UNICO,COMO QUANDO TIRA UMA FOTO,FAZ UMA OBRA EM 3D OU UM FRACTAL CADA UM TEM UM ESTILO. É PERFEITA ESTA OBRA QUE VOCÊ FEZ PARA COLOCAR NESTE TEXTO.+++++++++++5 UM GRANDE ABRAÇO MINHA AMIGA.

Very well said and it is such a joy to create that I don't think we will be able to stop. One who copies, always gets found out in the end, and lets hope that by exposing them when you can, will teach them a valuable lesson.

awesome words you wrote, to the point with emotion. the image to boot is a message that shouts to the cheater and the rest for that matter. You've done so well . With expression of emotion things seems to get better don't they. it feels good.

I agree too, Elizabeth. Unfortunately the web is so much more vulnerable than physical galleries. When I think about all the theft that's probably taking place—even by people we never meet (who never post, just steal)—I imagine we've all been hit. If it happens by someone we know, or someone in our artistic family, it's painful (esp because if they wanted to collaborate, all they have to do is 'ask'; most artists will find an image they're willing to collaborate on, even if it isn't the one the other artist wanted). But I guess theft comes with 'the territory' on the web, since it's a wholly open territory. I understand why you copyright: Many artists do on the web. (I know many who do.) It's just part of life...after all, in physical galleries, the art is protected by walls & locks, etc. Why shouldn't there be some protection in a web gallery, where anyone can walk in anytime...I have no problem with copyright protection, but I understand why it's sad & lamentable... Your words about the joy of creating are all true; and I really like your small image because of the delicacy of the hues and how they seem to fade around the edges. I also like how your hues fall in only a few places, leaving the white mostly open: It's like a work in progress, a work in its initial stages; but it feels complete too. On the whole, I think the RR community does very well, considering all the plunder it could be exposed to. I hope the day comes when there is no plunder, though...
