Description

Another one of the dragonflies from last Fridays Arbuckle Lake photo shoot. This is a Female Eastern Pondhawk the males turn a power blue after reaching adulthood. Wasn't able to find one last Friday maybe next time. Thanks for taking your time to view my work and for your comments.

So sorry I am late! This is a real beauty too! Splendid capture and presentation! I haven't even seen any this year, got plenty of mosquitoes tho so would be nice if I had some of these!!!

I'm not sure which has impressed me more, that fantastic capture, or that you actually can identify the specific name, and even the gender! Very cool.
