Description
Corsham, Wiltshire.
Corsham is a quiet, unspoilt town where peacocks wander freely around the streets! (Although not when I was there) It owes its prosperity to the wool trade and quarrying of golden Bath stone.
Thank you for looking, as always any comments or suggestions welcome 8~)

My idea of what an old English town is supposed to look like. Nice capture.

Great to see how this has changed so much since I was at Art School there in 1963! It's been pedestrianised and gentrified for sure! Bath Academy of Art moved form Corsham Court into Bath itself, and then Lord Methuen died. The peacocks used to come into the refectory!

Great shot, we had a lovely day out in Corsham. The church with its mixture of Saxon & Norman architecture was fascinating.
