Description

P-63A-7 42-69080 at Yanks Air Museum, Chino airport. The blue of the insignia rubs me the wrong way - bigtime. ugh! It should be much darker. Finish is natural metal (not paint - yay). This view, except for the door (car style door, complete with roll-up window) being on the plane (door on either side could be jettisoned for bailout), might be what one might see after bailing out and realizing one had forgotten something . . . The Jug is a YP-47M (originally built as a P-47D-27). It has the appearance of an N with D wings.
