Description

A brief respite from the wonderful world of aircraft to show results of my other clicking and postwork ventures. Captured 7/10/09, around high noon, within walking distance of my undomesticated domicile. A full size view is a MUST. Postworked version on top, original on the bottom in both instances. I will leave it to our astute viewers to speculate on how these postwork effects were achieved. And, no, these are not scenes from the movie(s), War of the Worlds. Tallyho, and toodles.

Nice capture!!! From the thumbnails I thought it was something out of an H.G. Wells novel! Well done!

Sure you kept a secret about your recent Mars visit Harry. #2 and #4 is defenetaly a sunrise and sunset on our red planet. Okay back to earth again. One thing I realy love about america is watertowers. Every rural town has a different 'unique' style. Sure we have some too but made out of concrete, how not exciting is this and not even a town name is on...lol

Wow - what incredibly different effects you created by playing with some postwork Harry! I agree with Bill - it is HOT!!! I favour the top two purely because you were brave enough to allow the sun to peep from behing the tower! Great POV too!!! Wonderful collage indeed! :)

yeah I love 'm all too. I see you took a basic sun flare and turned it into an intense sunburst in two of the shots; and your color schemes are quite nice. The top one has iridescent blues & violets, and the third has some of it two; which makes 2 & 4 more of the realistic variety. Nice alternation. And the original shot is nice & clean too, from just the right angle. Lots of fun too.
