Description

This was the image I was rendering a few days ago (seems like an eternity) and I'm still not happy with how it turned out. I was trying to get the back wall to reflect the Dragonfly, girl and flower. As you can see - it didn't happen!!! RATS! now I've got to read the tutorial and figure out where I went wrong. I will repost this when I get the wall to reflect. Other that that, the alternate iamge was a picture that my mom took of me taking pictures of the two bucks that were across the street. THAT will be posted tomorrow! Until then, happy digital imaging whatever the format and have a great Thursday. Thanks for all the wonderful comments and faves Mike

Hummmm…. I do not know large thing. But that looks at me as the light is not really in the right direction to put forward there its prowesses my friend. Bla Bla Bla…. The good click of the times returns the justice of our efforts to us. Cheer still and good work ((5++)) Hummmm....

looks goood mike 1 Check you surface setting under reflections boost to desired level begin at 75% and work from there and color generally white 2 Make sure ambient not to high and is set to black or something dark not higher than 15% 3 Specular should not set to low below 75% or to dark a color. 4 avoid using bump or diplacement it will drastically increase render time! 5 expect a long time for rendering I was using 4 simple primitives at 100% reflection and 1 distant light with shadow map and a spot light and rendering took about 7 minutes for a 1000 by 700 pixel size! When trying to get reflections it is better to work with something simple and keep working with it until you get a shader setting you like and save it as a shader preset! hope this helps if you want I can send you the scene sense it's all daz inclusive!

hmm just a suggestion, Mike, maybe if you resize the dragonfly a bit smaller and ad a lit from the front, so maybe this would the shadow appear on the wall...
