My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

This is incredibly beautiful...the sort of thing I'd love to capture myself. The shimmering light is superb and warm, very sensual in a way too. This is great and definitely a favorite. Beaten copper is always so intriguing; I don't know about anyone else, but it always makes me think of something from another life--you know: one of those dream lives that has the smell of camels and sand, tobacco and weird wafts of water from some oasis...great...and while you're smelling all of that, a tea merchant strolls by with a huge samovar strapped to his back and a pet monkey keeping pace with him...and he has glasses hanging from his belt and when he pours your tea, he does so by bowing forward, because his samovar is modified and it's pouring spigot rests on one sholder.... That kind of life! Evocative work here!

well chip just took me away to another world...More of your explorations of the mysteries of light, and the normally well defined furrows of beaten copper suddenly become a sea of lights & darks & hues. You captured rivers of light moving down to us, and allowed the background to be all night; and the straight lines of light make it feel like reflections on a deep sea...beautiful.
