Description

This is my first grunge experiment, so I ask the audience to be merciful. Wait to throw pieces of rubbish/garbage: save it for the July Challenge! ;D) It's true that not all photos are good for grungefication. However, I'm happy enough of this outcome. This is the back of the coach used by the Canadian Navy stand personnel as a background at Trois Rivieres, Quebec. It was all covered with huge photos, and close to it there was non-descript stuff. I thought the POV at a slant of the three guys running across some water during a drill was provocative. I've used some filters and a couple of textures. Maybe I'm too emotional, but in the end I felt like a kick in the teeth coming from the screen. One last note: if I didn't already know that they are Canadians, those soldiers seem remarkably Scottish. I'd like to know whether this similarity of uniforms is typical of other Commonwealth armies. I think we are all experimenting with grunge at this point in time...except for Shari who has it figured out:) This looks good to me! You've taken another new approach which I like...grunging the coach (trailer) with another recognizable picture. I'll have to try again in the next 2-3 days. I may try your approach.
