Description

Ok my first attempt at Matte painting. The buildings are a mix of Bryce and photoshop, whilst the other elements are from photos. I'd appreciate any constructive criticism as I'm looking to learn so I can progress. Cheers Joe

I don't even know what matte painting is, so I can't comment on your technique, but your images are all about the sense of place you create and this is beautifully warm and inviting; utopia! Love the framing by the cliffs too. Great work!

WOW!!! That's amazing! You did an excellent job in mixing Bryce's Fog/Haze with the background. I still struggle with that. A+!

Fantastic work. You did a great job. I don't agree with what others said about dirt in the buildings, the roll away or the light. I like clean buildings, why wouldn't buildings be clean? Roll away seems nonsense to me, we have no idea what the foundations are. The light seems fine to me as well. Even the scale, I don't agree that it's necessary something. I think it's optional and I think that in this case it's fine to leave it to the viewer to imagine.
