BIOI was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, August 29, 1953. I now reside in Stafford, Virginia. In college, I had a double major of English Lit and Philosophy, so became a computer programmer. I programmed for close to 20 years before I got sick of reading records and writing records and became a LAN Administrator. I love reading, movies, chess, art, sports, and physics (quantum). Oh, and I'm told I'm "different". (Don't ask me, I don't know why.)

I love how images like this are completely overlooked. I really like the composition and lighting in this one Paul. You're certainly coming along. If I had one comment, it would be to make your character appear to touch the ground unless she's supposed to float. Otherwise it's simply wonderful. Nice work!

You know, what I was trying to do was leave the impression that there was something a little "not quite right". So, I didn't generate shadows. I wanted people to ask, "is she floating or is she on the floor? Exactly what am I seeing?" An experiment. Maybe not the best. :)

I love the lighting on the inside of her wings. Very nice image Paul. Keep them coming! The risk of experiments as such, is that most people will just make up their mind one way or the other without ever asking a thing :)

I love this image, it really evokes feeling :)

I think she's having a battle with the dark angel in your first image.....I like this one the best. The background is perfect for this scene.
Blackhearted
cool character and scene. i like the image - the one tiny suggestion i could make is to airbrush some very subtle shadows around her feet to 'ground' her in the image more. they dont have to be perfect, just something subtle to break up the high-contrast of her shoe edges against the light colored floor. cheers, -gabriel
