Description

I had the most amazing day today soaking in the essence of my country and the continent of Africa!!! I was so close to the lioness on the image, that I could smell her breath... I stared into her gorgeous eyes and strangely it was not intimidating... She had three cubs and her lack of aggression surprised me. Maybe she could feel that I meant her no harm - only admiration! It was pure magic and I hope to share some of that with you in the days to come! Thank you for visiting my gallery and for your wonderful commenst and favs on my upload of the Olive Thrush yesterday! Hugs, Carin xx

This is such a beautiful and majestic capture Carin! It must have so wonderful to come this close... and surprisingly you had no fear... this beautiful cat must of felt that warmth and sincerity from you, and seemed to be totally ready for a photograph! So very beautiful, and so happy for you that you got to experience such a lovely moment!

Such serenity and self confidence in this magnificent shot of the magnificent beast and her offspring, Carin! But what's with the white beard? Now if I was to humbly approach her to take a similar foto, she would probably take umbrage and have my head and camera for lunch.

Whatever Tara said..... LOL Carin, this is such a regal capture. I understand that we all have our own unique animals and places, wherever we might live. And we all like to share our corner of the world with the rest of RR. BUT you seen to be, in the part of the world, that the rest of us want to visit your “world”. Dana
