Hubby, kids and I have called the Jersey Shore home for 36 years, but we'll be moving within the next year to the Gatlinburg, TN area. I've heard from others who did the same and then moved back because they so missed the ocean. Hubby and I are more 'pool' people than ocean and both grew up with farms and/or mountains so it should be an easier transition. Well, we hope, anyway. :)  I recently put my writing career on hold, discovered Poser, and with it, a love of creating digital art.  Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of several incredibly talented artists I didn't let my introduction to Poser overwhelm me (though I nearly did). The world of digital creativity is an awesome place and I'm so glad I found it. nice outfit, in terms of rendering large sizes, your poser program probably not capable of using 64 bit windows which has limitations on memory use..I am NOT a poser expert, I only use poser to make characters to be imported into Vue, so I am not the best person to get adviced, but I can say this.....how about adding horizontal line on your scene (under display>> guides>>horizontal line), then use area render, render top half down to the line then save the image then render it from the bottom half to the horizontal line, then save that image and stitch them together in photoshop? I used to render two halves when I was using Vue 6 for large files when Vue 6 only runs on 32 bit programs which only renders up to 2 gigs max RAM (I say about 2000 pixel size image) , now that I upgraded to Vue 7 , it is capable of running it on 64 bit which it can render beyond the 2GB RAM limit which my computer has 8 gigs and I can render over 6000 pixel size .

hmmm...maybe not having Photoshop is the problem. Is there a way it squeezes large sizes more efficiently? I use a web optimizer in Paint Shop Pro X but it doesn't seem to matter. If I can 'stitch' them in PSP I'll give that a shot. Thanks, Phillip! (The problem isn't making a large render, as I've done images 3000x3000 - the problem is keeping them within Rendo's size limitations. Fairly plain background, no problem. A scene is a size problem. argh!

Beautiful render with outstanding lighting, posing, and composition. Thank you! As for allowable render size, easy in PaintShopPro. Haven't found the same thing in Adobe Photoshop, but it's got to be there. Open the render in PSP, go to File/Export/JPEG Optimizer. Click the "Download Times" to see how big the file size is. If it is over 500 kb, click on Quality and increase the compression value, then go back to Download Times to see if is now under 500 kb. Keep going back and forth until it is just under 500 kb. This way you do not have to decrease the dpi, you can leave it at 200 or 300 or higher, but still have a file that meets the requirements. :)
