A young & possibly injured Swift I found in my garden. Allowed it to recover for two days in a box & released it, not sure if it survived though. Comments welcome, always love to know what everyone thinks. Thanks for viewing. Olympus E-510

This is a wonderful shot with detail beyond the ordinary by some distance...perhaps the injury allowed such a close shot but you have done a fine photo here. The bird may have survived if it could fly with control. If it did return to the earth, many birds reach that end every day but only the rare chance is there for a saved memory like your fine photo.
