Description
I'm creating this image as a mascot/logo for some software which scans for problems in code.
My initial aim was for a "friendly dustbin" which would have code reflected in it, but I'm concerned that I've got more of an overly-simple lump.
So I am looking for thoughts on how I could make a more interesting body, without spoiling the "reflected code" aspect too much.
(Not too sure on the head/face either, but once I've got a better body I can probably extrapolate a nicer head.)
It's been created from two C4D 6 renders - a regular raytrace, then a b&w cel render, overlaid in PSPX to keep the textures but give nice edges.
So yes, if anyone has suggestions - whether for a better robot model/style, or for the image in general - please do share them.

Looks like your well on the way to Improving this Little Guy.............as for the Image itself Id put him in some surroundings' perhaps make him look a few inches tall and use some Volumetric lights to bring him out.........just an Idea. Super work Jim

Still plenty to do, and I'm thinking of following Jim's suggestion and having a circuitboardy surrounding, with capacitors and so on to give scale. I'll post any further updates on the thread in the Critique forum.
