Description
My son left to go back to Iraq Saturday morning. He told us he would email us when he gets there. So far we haven't heard from him. If there are sandstorms happening it could take anywhere from a couple of days to a week.
Thanks for all your comments I'm a bit behind but I will get to them as soon as I can.
Thanks for taking the time to look.

My daughters boyfriend is there, and when he left this last time she called me in a panic when she hadn't heard from him the first night, and I told here give it time, they had to go over and set up a camp, so that meant setting up computers and a way to get in touch as well, it was a few nights before he could contact her. All the best to your son, just hang in there.

Great work! I'm sure it'll take time to get in touch. What's amazing is that one can be in touch, actually! When I think of my parents, with all the mess of letters, lost messages, and the like!

Fingers crossed you will hear very soon. It is an anxious time waiting, and you are in my thoughts. It's a lovely delicate image, like drifting swirling mist:-)

great image!!! I'm sure he will call you as soon as possible! Sometimes it takes a lot to get a decent internet connection. I know it too well because of my boyfriend.
