This is very similar to the set up I made for my garage shots. Well, not all of them but I've done a few this way. I have two different lights though since my workbence only supports a florescent ring for intense detail work on the bench and a swing-arm incandescent. :-) One day I'll be able to afford something better for my lighting but for now, it gets me by most of the time. This is a really great box you've put together.
