I'm just a girl with a Nikon D90, who loves taking pictures of just about anything and everything. Postworking my images is 'my thing' .. The main programs I use are: Photoshop CS 5, Corel painter 12. I am currently laid off and seeking employment. I have been in the technical support field for the last 12 years and have really enjoyed the work. Not sure what I want to do now. I think it depends on what is out there and what is available. Competition is tough, there are so many out of work these days.
Anyway! I have been a member at Renderosity since 2004.ÂÂ
If you've read this far, I want to thank you for your interest. :) ShariLyn

WICKED COOL!

I love this, well composed, very strong image. I think you've enhanced the original image well by continuing to work the surface. As you've posted this in photography you'll see many comments about losing the 'purity' of the photo, sad really so many photographers limit themselves to the conceptual trap of 'photographic purity'. The visual artists should not be afraid to exert their hand onto the initial shot, let the vision move you; art is process, not product. cheers, tim.

A beautiful shot! I, too, enjoy looking up into the canopy of a big tree and seeing the green glow of the leaves. Glad you didn't really fall over :)

Stellar grunge-like textural effects in this fine foto, Sharilyn! When taking these looking up shots I usually stick my right leg out behind me for support to prevent falling over backwards. And it's especially difficult when standing on uneven hilly ground.
