Description
The Archangel Gabriel
I am of the Seraphim.
Of those who draw near to him who is above all.
My name means "able bodied man of God",
and I weild Maul,
Carved from the core of a collapsing Star,
And shaped in a black hole
Angels are creatures of intense emotions, will and energy. But with most angel pictures you see the normal beautious images, bouncing baby cheribum. I wanted something slightly different, something with more movement. I tried to show that energy with this revisit.
This is also Dedicated to Wrpspeed who has help me with a lot of advice along the way...

Hmm, I think his hair needs more life and body and when will he learn, robes are sooo last smiting ;) The collection is beginning excellent, I want to see the rest.

Whats funny is that i havent found hair simular to this. This hair style fit him, I wish there was one like it but alas i dont.. And as for the robes.. he looks so good in them! And tthe wings are symbolic. As i stated Spirits are entities of intensly focused emotion, will and energy. Understanding that realise a noun is a person place or thing. Something that has substance and force. That being so the greater the spirits force of will and emotion, the more powerful it is, the greater effect it has on its enviroment. And as we can not 'see' them we can percieve and describe them n terms we understand. Like the awe felt when we see the power of a bird in flight. I am going to do a series on cheribum.. But who i really wish to do are the 4 living creatures. Who are shown to have power equal to Cheribum, 2 sets of wings. But they are also described as having 4 seperate facets, or faces to their power. Power = face of a bull. (easy justice = face of a lion. (Regal majesty) love = face of a man (Loving parent) Wisdom = face of the eagle (far sightedness)

Gabriel looks quite malevolent, especially with "Maul"...quite fitting name actually ! I guess some sinner is about to be smacked back to the beging of time...OUCH ! Well done & ~Cheers~
