Description
This is going inside the flower along the path the pollinating insects walk. The insert image shows the greyed out "petal". This is the huge purple out of focus blob in the main picture. I focused on the appendages within the bloom that must play a part in controlling the pollinator's access areas, so it does it's job for the flower.

Upon close inspection, it seems it has lower fangs...must be its way of testing the bravery of any insect who dares to enter... Only the strong hearted may bring gifts of pollen. LOL
