The Village War Memorial
The inscriptions tell that even this tiny place gave up eight of it's young men in WWII.

What a delight to see this, we have a beauty in the Millpond raod in Rotherhithe, but it has like evrything else fallen victim to the cretins with painspray cans.

What an amazing garden. I have always loved the way the British can take a small square of land and turn it into a stunning and well packed garden delight. It is a beautiful way to honor the war victims. I'm fascinated by the way this is planted thought. Not at all what I've been told are the rules to plant by.
