Description

This all started with the door as a symetrical lattice model and it worked so well I added the walls the same way and imported a window I'd built in Imagine3D some time back. The floor is a textured and bumped infinite plane. comments welcome...thanks for looking.. ...

I love the door but have a few comments if you don't mind. 1.. The floor tiles seem too big. Personally i would reduce there size by nearly 50%. just play with different settings. 2.. The bricks within the wall appear to be too square. Please do not take these comments to heart as I am only placing my personal views which you can throw out at any time (grin!) Ian...

Excellent! Is this all terrains? I suggest reducing the size of the ground terrain to match the wall terrain as it does not really match sizewise. If that makes it too small then try duplicating it and matching the two together. You could of course increase the wall terrain size but then you will lose the POV and need to pull out which may present another problem. I'm looking forward to seeing how this works out as I too am enjoying working with terrains this way.

a roof!...my country for a roof!... I agree with others that the ground plain does seem to be a bit large. And other than adding a roof the image is great!

I can accept the wall brick as done specially for this building but the floor is where I'm having trouble with... it throws the proportions of the door off... the floor tiling could be smaller.. I would try another type of flooring...

Very fine Lattice modeling! That's absolutely one of my favorite features in Bryce. You did a nice job preparing the heightmap. I do agree that the floor would seem more realistic if the frequency of the tiles was increased a bit, but otherwise I really like this.

All tips graciously taken and I agree with all about the floor tiles, especially as the test render going on at the mo' is an actual enclosed room..just a flat ceiling so far...will need to sketch before I try a vaulted anything...LOL.. ...

@ Willie...more like my patience and available computer time...seems my Bryce stuff takes all the computer power I have so I can't be doing anything else on the computer during a Bryce render which is very rare as I actually do work on my computer as well.. ...
