Going back to the first Wave posting on the 26th. Looking at the wall, we have gone right, and now we look left. This narrow little slot takes you left around the main wall of the Wave. I should note that the wall of the Wave, I use the term "wall" loosely. The only formation that has been officialy named is where I stand in the bowl of "The Wave". Thats really the shape of it, a bowl. The only formation inside this bowl that doesnt slope but rises vertically, is the wall The wall has a different face on the other side. It hides this unique treasure tucked into these foothills. Like a hidden valley. If you don't know exactly where this is You are 96% percent likely to hike right past this area. Sorry, can get a bit long winded about this area. Wrapping up, this was taken with a wide angle lens. The sage growing out of the sandstone are over a meter in hieght.
