Description

Helle! Now it is time for reaping the currant field. I took this shot few minutes ago. Thanks for your kind comments to my previous post. Special warm thanks to Dave who added it to his favs. ;-D Have a great day. We have cloudy weather and it is getting darker, so I expect rain any minute now. Good, then the garden is getting watered automaticly. ;-) Pitty for the harvest people though.

This is a special treat for me Helle and being in a rural area I see so many machines harvesting away but admit I've never seen a harverster like this before.

An interesting looking harvester and far easier than picking by hand. A lovely capture.

"That's one hungry beast" (koosie)—lol. I've never seen harvesters like this, it's formidable, it's almost scary! It's really huge, and I wonder how it even 'gets' the fruits: From my untrained eye, it looks like it demolishes them! (I know, what do I know, living in a huge city...) I also like the bright red against the greenish currant field. I used to eat currants all the time—so this is how they're harvested. What an impressive looking machine!
