Description

This began as a photo taken at the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio. Background was quite cluttered. A few lasso operations, the paint bucket, the magic wand, and a few choice filters resulted in what reminded me of an impressionistic view of an airborne F4 Phantom. My working definition: Impressionist was an art movement that started in France around 1870 which attempted to capture the fleeting impressions or feeling of a scene, rather than detailed realism. Bill:) P.S. Will be here for a few days than I'll be taking a powder for a medical procedure that will keep me offline for anywhere from several days to several weeks. I'll keep an eye on all of you...assuming the pink elephants don't blur your uploads. LOL. And of course, I will comment when I can but it will be awhile before I'm back 24/7 like usual:)

I love it! Whatever you did to this image, it's a winner. I can't stop staring! Love the subtle color, the chrome look, the drama. A-1 stuff! I shall patiently await photos of pink elephants.

With the proper and expert use of Photoshop tools, you've come up with a beautiful POV and well defined and illuminated concept of the McDonnell Douglas Phantom F-4, an instant before it opens up with its 20mm cannon and rockets, dispatching the viewer into the great beyond, albeit in little pieces. Will really miss you while you're gone, Bill. Hope everything turns out okay, and just be well.
