Description

Just going through and playing with some old pics. These smoke pics were really fun. Sometimes such strange designs and patterns form. Or maybe I'm just easily amused :P

Nope! Nature is ever amusing, and faraway overgoes what man can think of. Nice picture. The regularity of it would have some people to believe it is mostly postwork...

Helleshoi: This repeating pattern of swirls is actually very common in the streams of smoke. The pattern did break down after the last swirl in the image, and I edited out that messy bit, but the swirls that are there are "all natural" (except for the colorization of course).

Nothing wrong with being easily amused! Fascinating pic, and repeatable. Agree with the comment above about looking like a glass neon sculpture. Love the colours too.
