Description

Well....I finally managed to make a recognisable self-portrait in Daz|Studio. I'm happy with it, and my husband was quite startled at the likeness. I started with ART's Hadley--whose nose and overall face shape resemble my own, then I got busy with Morphs++ and really began to modify Hadley to resemble some of the existing photo references I have of myself. The skin I used is a modified version of LRPs Mimi, with some serious work under the Surfaces tab. I used Valea's Jewels 2 to represent the grey-shade my eyes can take (they're actually grey-green-amber form of hazel). Sassy-classy hair in dark brown for a style I used to wear. Bettine's Secrets necklace--I love that kitty! Valea's Clandestine hair earrings. Billy-T's leather jacket and of course, Daz's V4. Designfera's Dark Skies BG and Khory_D/si_vincent's Calida Simplicity Lights.

Excellent, realistic portrait work is a real challenge but just so much fun to do. It was actually easier to do it with V3 than with the new V4 but I think this is excellent.
