Description
It is rather rare to catch these felines exactly like this, where the king and queen are walking next to each other. It happened so quickly that I just pointed and shot off a few images. I must admit that I was rather disappointed with the outcome. The male was slightly behind the lioness, so he is not in sharp focus... I tried to compromise by softening the image slightly... Anyway - here they are - the Royal Pair...
I've got a bust weekend planned but will try and keep up to date with comments.

The softening worked well. The detail on the lioness and the blur on the king almost match. To the point that only some one looking for it would be able to notice.

I thought this pose was only possible in Disney movies. How fabulous! I love the softness added and, between you and me, focusing the attention on the queen is ok with me. She earns the right IMO. :-)

starring Yul Brenner and Deborah Kerr (1956). The queen in this case has violated the sacred rules of royalty by walking ahead of the king. Has she no sense of propriety? Henry the Eighth would have had her immediately imprisoned in the Tower of London. Pretty good capture considering you were caught rather unawares, Carin. I think it came out quite well. Love the colors and lighting effects. And, what exactly is a "bust" weekend? The implications of that comment are earth shaking.
