Description

He made my DOF! I could have kissed that guy! However,I was wondering whether a fraction of second before should have been better. On second thought, I decided that his step off the scene illustrates well the 'seize the day'(seize the opportunity)sort of mind I often face. This guy is the right counterpoint to the very organized, slow, still way of taking a shot exemplified by yesterday's post. This one is more in Julius Caesar's 'veni, vidi, vici' style (I came, saw, and won). Three steps in-shoot-three steps out. The camera and the brain register the event in the same instant. The leisure clothing of the former is substituted by the almost military one of the latter.... Excuse my philosophical rantings. Thank you for your kind comments.

I think you were lucky to have him in the picture, or you would have had to find a fence post or some other structure like him, nice photo.

It is amazing how three dimensional this phots seems when I look at it full-size! A most wonderful framing and setting! Great lighting that doesn't wash out any details and just enough action to arrest your attention and pull you in! Fabulous!
