"All around" she thought " All around me, in circles"
She didn't look, but she knew, they're there.
Larger than they should be. Still growing.
Permanent. They have been there before her.
"You can count on us" they said "we are here to protect you"
Circling. Rising and falling.
Circling. Precise, orderly.
"...and the inner stairs" She wondered "Leading up to me, rising"
She didn't look, but she knew they're there.
Alluring vacant whirls. Chaotically spreading.
Expanding. They belong out here and forever.
"You can count on us" they said "we are here to save you"
Stationary. Never seem to move.
Stationary. Random, lawless.
"I cant tell" she sighed "who is here for me"
