Description

Definately best viewed full size. A girl adjusting a contact lens........... In my last piece I got the impression my characters eyes were lacking in some detail so this time I decided to scan my own eyes into the mix, the eye maps are 6000 x 6000 - In rendering this one I could tell my PC hates me but that's OK, with a 21 hour render time I'm hating it right back. I hope you all like this one Poeplipoe, this one's for you.

Thanks! Great stuff. I love the original concept. Don't think I ever saw a contactlens-adjusting Victoria before :-) I also like how you used your own eyes. I think maybe you went a bit over the top with a 6000x6000 eye-map for a 2000x1000 image ;-) The skin, is that Elite? In full view the bump-mapping seems just a tad too strong. But hey, thanks for dedicating an image to me! Or is there a hidden meaning somewhere in there? Like I'm always looking too closely to your images or something? ;-)

Well, when you request both critical and non-critical, you open the door for what can be conceived as "brutal honesty," something I've been accused of often myself. :o) But, in the end, if it improves and gives insight and doesn't personally attack. You learn. Excellent concept and why not have characters with contacts? You've taken another step forward. The whole composition of the bath/restroom from the mirrors perspective is just, well, Cool!

As a part-time contact wearer, I can sure sympathize with your model. :D
