This evening. He wasn't that naughtly at all and allowed me to make a couple of shots. He's only four months old this week.

It's always a pleasure of the highest order to come here, I think this is shimmering. It's a pure dog shot with everything that dog owners know & love. And your detail & lights are just beautiful Nikolay, the kind of thing you do so brilliantly. And the light you coaxed from his upper lip & tongue are beautiful as well. You also use your characteristic sepia-grays, which are always very rich & anything but "mono-tonal". I've missed a number of your posts, but I'll be back to catch them all, as I catch up here; but you know by now that, for me, the pleasure of your gallery is supreme. Wonderful piece & wonderful looking dog...Some people say we don't own dogs, they own us: I think they're right. Hope you're having a fine August Nikolay! Enjoy! (ps...you're down to 485 images! I've been waiting for 500 for months now—I guess we'll just have to wait a little longer...our Master has been doing some serious editing, lol!)
