Description

Bryce 6.1/DazStudio/Photoshop/Photoscape This is my "buff,alien-hunting babe with a big gun" scifi image,with the look of a cover art for a novel.Figure is Victoria 3 base with Trixie mat and Summer Hair,and a sport top and Cree pants,boots and assault rifle(all from Daz and posed in DazStudio).Terrains are rendered in a terrain texture combined with two procedurals,fog and haze are customized presets,and the water is a preset.The sunlight was turned off,and two radial lights with low falloff were placed high in the scene to simulate light entering the cave from openings above.Two cones in a Lit Rays preset completed the effect of light streaming down into the cavern.The alien tentacle is a lattice,rendered in a preset lizard skin texture.Rendered in Superfine setting.Signature was added in Photoshop,frame and a contrast boost in Photoscape 3.3.Thanks for viewing and any comments!

Awesome scene. The swirly textures kind of give it the feel that it was painted on canvas. Very subtle work on the tentacle, accentuated by the volumetric beams. Keen sense of line, guiding the eyes around the image. Well done!!!

Very nicely done! I like the terrain and the lighting effects. (wish her face wasn't greenish - but that's a lighting effect, and I need to get over my prejudiced towards greens.)
